He grows up in Singapore church. At the end of 2005, he was baptized in Singapore Church.

In 2007, he founded Stream Of Grace (SOG), which focus on community service, evangelistic performances and poetry album production. Receiving The Lord’s grace, he became a pastor in 2014.

Pastor Yuan Yi is the first full-time volunteer of SOG, leading SOG to worship, share witnesses/testimonials and host evangelistic events in Malaysia, China, Cambodia, the United States and Singapore. He also published original music albums such as “Mother’s Diary”, “Peace in Risk”, “Spring Hearts Praise Yeah”, “Year of the Year”, “Forever Praise”, “Love in Peace”.

He also led SOG every year in July, the Chinese Lunar New Year, by organizing “July Song of Peace” musical festival. This event is a gathering of famous Christian artists from all over Asia to present fabulous songs and dances and hilarious talk shows. Besides letting the audience regain their goodness in the melody, this event also shares the testimony of life, so that the audience can be blessed by God’s love, especially the friends who usually do not want to walk into the church to receive grace of the gospel, as well as bringing people to receive salvation in “July Song of Peace.”

In 2012, he studied at the ACC College of Psychological Counseling in Singapore and obtained the qualification of Chinese psychological counselor. Till date, he has helped many people living at low tide, including gamblers, single parents and problem children.

Beginning in 2014, at the invitation of the International Chinese Foreign Language Theological Seminary and the Revival Biblical Theological Seminary, he taught courses such as “Worship and Praise”, “Youth Counseling” and “Leadership Training” in Chengdu, Sichuan, China, of which is received well by the respective college and students.
